What is the difference between Industrial Hemp and Marijuana?

Industrial hemp is cultivated for CBD, food, fuel, fiber, personal care products, and much more with THC levels at 0.3% or less. Marijuana is cultivated for its medicinal, recreational, and mind altering effects, and contains between 5% to 10% or more THC.

How much CBD oil should I take?

CBD serving sizes can vary substantially. Your serving size will depend upon your body weight, metabolism, individual body chemistry, and other metabolic factors. We recommend starting with 1 serving to ½ serving of CBD and use the same dose for several days. Monitor the effects and if necessary, adjust the amount slowly. Don’t overdo it. Below is an example and our recommendations. We cannot give specific recommendations, but we can guide you to make your own decision.

What’s the difference between hemp oil and hemp seed oil?

Hemp oil is generally used to classify whole hemp plant extracts or hemp flower extracts. Hemp oil is known for its healing properties and abundance of naturally occurring cannabinoids aka high trace amounts of CBD. Hemp seed oil is extracted solely from hemp seeds and generally only contains minimal amounts of cannabinoids aka low trace amounts of CBD. Hemp oil is what will produce the largest abundance of cannabinoids aka high trace amounts of CBD. Look at Hemp oil as pharmaceutical grade and hemp seed oil as an over the counter supplement.

 Is Industrial Hemp / CBD Legal?

Yes – CBD oil obtained from industrial hemp is now legal, because the FDA considers hemp-derived cannabinoids to be food-based products, so their importation and consumption is not restricted. With the recent passing of the 2018 Farm Bill, which includes language that legalizes farmers to grow hemp across the United States. This will further accelerate higher standards of quality being U.S grown as well as bring an awareness to more Americans of what Industrial Hemp and CBD have to offer. Prior to the 2014 Farm Bill, which had several restrictions, most hemp was grown outside of the United States. Industrial hemp can be legally grown in most countries and CBD oil can be purchased in most of those countries. CBD extracted from marijuana is only legal in states with a medical or recreational marijuana program. CBD sourced from industrial hemp grown pursuant to the 2014 Farm Bill is legal in all 50 states.

 Will I Pass A Drug Test?

In order to fail a drug test, you would have to consume unusually high doses of CBD. You would have to consume over 1000mg of CBD within a 24hr period to fail a drug test. If this is a concern, we recommend doing some further research before making the decision to consume CBD products.

Will I Get “HIGH”?

No, CBD is non-psychoactive. It will not create a ‘high’ or altered state of mind.

What is the difference between Full-Spectrum CBD Oil and Isolate?

All of our products are 100% organically grown and our full-spectrum CBD oil will have 0.3% THC or less which is in line with Federal law. Full Spectrum means the oil will have more naturally occurring terpenes, and other cannabinoids such as CBN and CBG. Full Spectrum, sometimes also called “whole plant” means the full plant extract is included. CBD Isolate, as the name suggests, these products have been isolated down to just the CBD molecule. They have no other active ingredients and just aim to deliver therapeutic doses of CBD, isolated from the other cannabinoids and terpenes. CBD isolate products often come as a white powder or a mix with a carrier oil such as MCT oil for improved absorption. Some people find the taste of hemp extract unpleasant, which may mean they should try a flavored CBD oil.

How Do I Use The Topical?

How Do I Use The Tincture (CBD Oil)?

Simply fill the 1 ml dropper with CBD oil which is 1 full serving. Place serving under tongue and hold it for 45 to 90 seconds. Then Swallow.

How Do I Use Isolate?

Isolate is typically ‘dabbed’ or vaporized, although it can be added into anything oil / alcohol based. This can include anything from lotions to food and drinks.

Will CBD interact with my other medications?

At low doses of CBD, it is unlikely that drug-herb interactions will occur. However, it is possible that drug-herb interactions can occur from high doses of CBD. If you are taking a medication that requires a certain blood level such as (anti-seizure, anti-viral, blood-thinning medications) talk with your healthcare provider or pharmacist before trying CBD.
